I see my aunt Dierdre maybe once a year because she lives in Pennsylvania, but I always get the same greeting about how I sent a nice little vase of lilies to her for her 25th anniversary. I wanted to tell you that the orchids I sent my mother in the hospital really lifted her spirits. She was thrilled to see them because she has orchids at home that she hasn't seen in almost a month. They couldn't be moved, but I wanted to give her something that reminded her of home. They were delivered in the morning, and I was able to visit her in the early evening.
