I like that I can shop on the Internet in my jammies. I can probably do that anywhere, but I can also talk to a professional sounding person in my jammies. I know you can't see it, but there's a big smile on my face because I finally got my father to break his long silence to my brother. They haven't seen eye to eye for years and have spoken in at least that long. I was able to get them together for my birthday, and the way I convinced them to come was to send each of them a note from me along with bouquets of flowers. It was the last thing I could think of to do, because these are not normally two men who would be affected by flowers. I almost stopped short of ordering any of the brightly colored funeral sprays for my mother’s funeral.
