I wish someone had told me about you earlier. I don’t like talking about this, but the flowers at my grandmother’s funeral last year were unnecessarily gaudy. She didn’t like a big show, and I always thought she would have disapproved of them. Unfortunately, my mother died this year. I had used you before for birthdays, so I thought it couldn’t be worse than what my grandmother had. I feel strange saying this, but I think both of them would have really loved the flowers and arrangements that your people put together and delivered to the chapel for the service. Is there some kind of large population of patient souls where you get your customer service people from? Do they also babysit for a trio of tiny terrors (ages: 3, 6, & 8)? I must have been on the phone with this person (I forget her name, sorry!) for at least a half an hour trying to order a simple flower arrangement and I have to chase around my terrors (I mean: lovely children) at the same time. Valentine's Day has special significance in our house because it was the day that we closed escrow six years ago. It was a very trying time, trying to sell a house and buy a house at the same time. My mother brought us a unique combination of roses and lilies that I hadn't remembered seeing before. It was so special for us and for her. She's no longer with us, but my husband now has taken over sending flowers to me from work: roses and lilies in the same flower arrangement. Your flowers were a hit! I got several baskets as centerpieces for a Thanksgiving themed office party. Many important clients were invited during the short week before Thanksgiving to partake of our good cheer. They helped set the tone for the party and spread the good feeling amongst them all. I didn't think it would make all that much difference, but I saw the setup before the flowers arrived, and then again after they arrived.
