I'm going through some hard times at this part of my life. But I do not lose faith. If you lose faith, you're giving up, you're telling God that you just can't handle what He's handing you. My family was killed in a house fire a year ago to right now. I decided to commemorate this as a celebration of their lives and how their lives affected mine. My friends, family all came down for it, and I ordered what I consider to be the best flowers in the world -- not for myself, although I will enjoy them, but for my family. I've always been ambivalent about Valentine's Day, mostly because nothing ever happened. It's only recently that I've been in a serious relationship that has lasted through Valentine's Day, so maybe that has something to do with it. In any event, this last Valentine's, I was actually in a relationship, so I wondered what would happen. Societal attitudes, I guess. I got her some candy, and she got me some flowers. But not just any flowers. They were these eye-popping spring flowers with full fragrance and very pretty. Of course, they were your flowers, which is why I'm writing to you. I have to complain a little bit. The picture on your website did not do the flower arrangement justice, and it looked like I spent more on my step-mother's Mother's Day present than on my mother's present.
