Sometimes it seems like my children have all left me for their better lives in other places. At least they find time to let me know they are doing OK. I've always been ambivalent about Valentine's Day, mostly because nothing ever happened. It's only recently that I've been in a serious relationship that has lasted through Valentine's Day, so maybe that has something to do with it.
