My mother has been an inspiration to me my whole life. Every time I go to her for advice, she is patient, understanding, and always has words of wisdom for me. It is absolutely the least thing I could do to send her flowers on Mother's Day, especially with everything I owe her. But she's got such a great attitude about life, she breaks down in tears that her daughter could be so kind as to bring her flowers. My great-grandmother’s funeral was much more sober than any other funeral I’ve been to (to many of them), and I couldn’t figure out why. Finally, it dawned on me, the flowers were wholly inappropriate for the setting. They were the whole color, the wrong style, and too ostentatious for the scene. I found out that the person in our family who normally orders the flowers (from you) had asked someone else to do it this time, and he ordered from someone else.
