I have dealt with certain delivery companies before who could not handle a slight discrepancy in the address with any smarts at all. It seems like if two numbers in a zipcode are transposed, it stops them in their tracks and they delay a couple days and charge you half again as much. I admit that I sometimes get zipcodes wrong. My memory isn’t what it used to be. But someone over there recognized the mistake I made on a flower delivery and it didn’t slow them down a whit. I've been giving my girlfriend chocolate for the past three years for Valentine's Day. Now she's on a low-carb diet, and I'm not sure how I can give her candy when she's not supposed to be eating it. I mistakenly sent them to the new house address without thinking about escrow and even move-in time.
