Thank you for helping this family make the transition to having a Jewish daughter. I recently started my conversion to Judaism after marrying into the faith. My family has not exactly been running up to congratulate me on my choice. They've been largely non-religious, but they celebrate Christmas like every other American family. Too many times, I've found myself sitting at home on the computer instead of outside enjoying the landscape and the people. The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. You know, I still get that same little twinge when my husband brings or sends me flowers. Don't take this the wrong way, but where he gets them from doesn't matter much to me.
