The wonder of flowers! My neighbor and I had been feuding for months, ever since my sycamore allegedly dropped all of its leaves onto their vegetable garden. It escalated from there, and one point the common fence was on fire. (Don't ask.) Anyway, my wife of all people, sent them flowers and then boom, it was over. My status as a second daughter in my family means that I am usually the left out one. I’m forced into the kitchen with my mother and aunties even though I have no idea how to cook. My brother is being cared for in his home by several people, including myself and a few home care nurses. I almost needed the flowers that I sent as much as my brother did.
