I have a story I want to tell you. I met my husband when we were both on separate trips through Italy. We had a whirlwind romance for about two weeks, and it was the best time in my life. This was thirty years ago. I hadn’t seen him in all that time. Well, about a month ago, I get a gift of flowers from him. Your flowers. And I realized that day was the anniversary of when we met all those years ago. He had been trying to find me all this time. We were both divorced, and we had another whirlwind romance. It's absolutely lovely that a Brit who lives in Brazil can send flowers to Australia from an American company. This is a brave new world we live in, and I, for one, absolutely love this part of it. Friends of mine sometimes tell me they feel overwhelmed by all of the options and information they have available to them. But I find that there are distinct benefits to living at this time in history, like FTD for example. I thank you for putting some joy into the life of one of my closest friends. Sadly, she passed away from cancer recently much too young. The flowers that were delivered to her hospice always brightened her day no matter what her mood was. I tried to visit with her as often as I could, but busy lives often get in the way of such relationships. The flowers she received had no such problems, though. She often said that it was as if I were there, and she would talk to the flowers as if they were me.
