I have dealt with certain delivery companies before who could not handle a slight discrepancy in the address with any smarts at all. It seems like if two numbers in a zipcode are transposed, it stops them in their tracks and they delay a couple days and charge you half again as much. I admit that I sometimes get zipcodes wrong. My memory isn’t what it used to be. But someone over there recognized the mistake I made on a flower delivery and it didn’t slow them down a whit. I wish I knew who it was, because I would thank them from an old woman, so I’m saying thank you to you for possibly training your flower delivery people that way.(Bonita R. , Houma LA )

It's absolutely lovely that a Brit who lives in Brazil can send flowers to Australia from an American company. This is a brave new world we live in, and I, for one, absolutely love this part of it. Friends of mine sometimes tell me they feel overwhelmed by all of the options and information they have available to them. But I find that there are distinct benefits to living at this time in history, like FTD for example. The whole wedding party just about broke down in tears when the bride walked in with her swanlike bouquet of long-stemmed white roses. I hope that doesn't sound flip. I always thought a bouquet in a wedding was gardening flowers - daisies, maybe wild roses, dahlias, you know, like that. But all roses? I never would have ordered them if it was up to me, but she really wanted them. I wouldn't have though of it, but they were really spectacular.
