I felt kind of weird at first ordering flower displays for a funeral over the Internet. It's interesting what kind of preconceptions we have about such things. I was always under the impression that it would somehow "mean more" if I were to do that in person at a flower shop. Well, I went to a number of flower shops before going online to order from you, and it didn't feel right getting the hard-sell from them. That might be unfair because they're in business to sell flowers, but still, that's how I felt. I wasn't all that close with my Uncle Tommy, but it's sad when anyone dies, so I can only imagine how someone must feel talking to salespeople who are constantly trying to "sell them up" to more and more expensive pieces. I don't mean to sound like I dislike salespeople. But it's just easier in the long run to come to these decisions on your own. Is there a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with flowers? It's the quintessential red roses day, and I send them out to my girlfriend every year. Sadly it is not the same girlfriend every year, but maybe if I start to remember their birthdays it would make it easier. Valentine's Day is much easier to remember. It's always on the same day. I simply love all the choices that you have. I like that you have other things besides just flowers, like plants and FTD baskets of gift foods. That's good choices right there. We had a combination Christmas and Chanukka this year, so we had arrangements of blue and white flowers intermixed with arrangements of red and green flowers, just like our family. The wonder of flowers! My neighbor and I had been feuding for months, ever since my sycamore allegedly dropped all of its leaves onto their vegetable garden. It escalated from there, and one point the common fence was on fire. (Don't ask.) Anyway, my wife of all people, sent them flowers and then boom, it was over.
