My cousin told me that some flowers went to the house, and some went to the funeral home, and one went to the hospital, even after my uncle had died. Well, yours was one of the ones that got to the right place, and it was nice to hear that the flowers were comforting to the family. My mother visited for a short time last spring, and she noticed something completely new, for her anyway. She noticed that there was this celebration called Mother's Day that everyone takes so seriously. Now she demands that she be treated like an American mother and have flowers and cards and calls and gifts sent to her. All this so she can say that her daughters in America recognize that she is an American mother by proxy or something.
