I've always been ambivalent about Valentine's Day, mostly because nothing ever happened. It's only recently that I've been in a serious relationship that has lasted through Valentine's Day, so maybe that has something to do with it. After an extended stay in the States, I am prepared to say that I like China better. This is not to say that I would not enjoy a life over there.
