I was in the USA recently, and I discovered the tradition of Thanksgiving. It's such a wonderful time to take the summer and autumn harvest and put it to good use for family that visits. I was interested to see how my American friends celebrated, and from what I understand, there is a turkey and potatoes and that's about what the similarities are between families. I like the idea of having a major holiday before Christmas that kind of celebrates autumn and all its colors. I was also impressed with the flowers. I understand that not everyone includes flowers as part of the holiday, but if my friends are any indication, everyone should have flowers. I would like to start a Thanksgiving celebration in my country, and I can start with turkey, potatoes, and autumn flowers.(Irina K. , Tallinn , Estonia)

The "Burst of Joy" bouquet of flowers is really something. My aunt Leslie just about started laughing when she saw it because it's so big and bold and colorful. She fawned over it, even though we've never been close. I think she was impressed by the flowers more than the thought of it because at first she didn't recognize the name of the person who gave them to her (mine). I guess I always thought that sending flowers from different places was all the same. You're all hooked into that FTD thing, aren't you? I don't get around as much as I used to. Let me explain. I am now in a wheelchair because of a degenerative disease. I find that I am relying more and more on Internet services to help me do day-to-day things. I have used a good number of online flower delivery sites, but yours is clearly the best. You have an advantage in the layout and usability of your website and also of the selection you have for people to choose from. I also noticed that you tend to be a bit faster than other places. Is there a worse holiday to miss than Mother's Day? I sailed right over it last year, and I suddenly noticed a palpable sheet of ice in my mother's voice over the phone ever since then. Every year, I've sent my wife roses for Valentine's Day. This year, I decided to do send something different. You know, just because. I still sent all red flowers, but just not roses.
