The flowers I sent to my mother arrived, and I was told they were quite amazing. Apparently much better than the flowers that my holier-than-thou brother sent to her (her words). I don't resent in the fact that my mother likes him better than me, but it does make it easier to feel really good that I outdid him. I felt kind of weird at first ordering flower displays for a funeral over the Internet. It's interesting what kind of preconceptions we have about such things. I was always under the impression that it would somehow "mean more" if I were to do that in person at a flower shop. Well, I went to a number of flower shops before going online to order from you, and it didn't feel right getting the hard-sell from them. That might be unfair because they're in business to sell flowers, but still, that's how I felt. I wasn't all that close with my Uncle Tommy, but it's sad when anyone dies, so I can only imagine how someone must feel talking to salespeople who are constantly trying to "sell them up" to more and more expensive pieces. I don't mean to sound like I dislike salespeople. But it's just easier in the long run to come to these decisions on your own. The image of the yellow Sunshine Express arrangement of flowers should really be updated to represent the depth and burst of color that you get when you receive one of those things. I was hoping for a yellow that my mother-in-law would like, but instead she got a supersonic yellow barrage that isn't indicated by the image on the website.
