My cousin told me that some flowers went to the house, and some went to the funeral home, and one went to the hospital, even after my uncle had died. My status as a second daughter in my family means that I am usually the left out one. I’m forced into the kitchen with my mother and aunties even though I have no idea how to cook. My confession is this: you weren't my first choice for sending flowers, but you were recommended by my assistant, who I guess had had a good experience.
