My father died after a long bout with cancer. I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to make any sort of arrangements, so my husband did most of them. Looking back, I could see that he was upset also, and he’s not exactly the arbiter of taste that he thinks he is when he’s in the right frame of mind. I just wanted to say that the bouquet I ordered for my parents’ anniversary arrived right on time and touched my mother to tears.
