Sometimes it seems like my children have all left me for their better lives in other places. At least they find time to let me know they are doing OK. I was so sick to hear of my sister-in-law's mother. She died of emphysema. It wasn't exactly unexpected, but it was still a shock to the family. My brother has taken it a bit hard also.
