Valentine's Day has special significance in our house because it was the day that we closed escrow six years ago. It was a very trying time, trying to sell a house and buy a house at the same time. There's something about giving flowers that makes it worthwhile to be friends with people. That sounded strange. But I guess in a way it's true. I was struck by this sentiment when I looked at how your website was organized. There are many different types of arrangements and many different arrangements within those types. It got me to thinking about how people react to flowers and how they react to the people who send them. I think you've tapped into something here, about how people react to flowers and in what context they receive them probably affects how they are received. It's absolutely lovely that a Brit who lives in Brazil can send flowers to Australia from an American company. This is a brave new world we live in, and I, for one, absolutely love this part of it. Friends of mine sometimes tell me they feel overwhelmed by all of the options and information they have available to them.
