My best day this year was seeing the look on my five-year-old's face when she saw the giant package of flowers that my father sent to her on her first day of kindergarten. They arrived early, to my surprise, so that Linden could see them before she went. It was a special start to a special day, and she wanted to bring them to let the rest of the class enjoy them. By all accounts, they did. I don't know if this would have been possible with another flower distributor, but I'm glad they were possible with you. Who invented Valentine's Day? He must have been some kind of genius. It's right in the middle of winter when we're all busy trying to keep the winter chill out of the house. It makes you stop and think about all of the people you love and who love you. I am just floored sometimes at the reaction I get from my wife when I give her flowers, especially on Valentine's Day. I think it's because it's one day where we can forget about things like de-icing the driveway and block heaters and shoveling the sidewalk. With the actual number of florists on the Internet it's difficult to choose who to go with to order from first. But you know, it isn't all to difficult to choose the second time you order something. Those that don't provide good enough services or products get left behind. You should know that I consider you the cream of the crop in this regard. The flowers I sent to my son and daughter-in-law for a congratulations on purchasing a new house actually got there. I mistakenly sent them to the new house address without thinking about escrow and even move-in time. I couldn't be there in person because I'm overseas, so I had to suffer through a night of thinking, "what did I forget?" It didn't hit me until my son called to say they were very appreciative of the flowers I sent. It was then that I remembered giving the wrong address on the form, and I became more confused because they actually got delivered to the right place.
