My best day this year was seeing the look on my five-year-old's face when she saw the giant package of flowers that my father sent to her on her first day of kindergarten. Thank you for helping my sister-in-law celebrate her 30th birthday in style. She's never really been a part of our family in any meaningful way, even though she tries I think my brother has managed to shield her from much of the family nonsense that might help bring us closer. My father died after a long bout with cancer. I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to make any sort of arrangements, so my husband did most of them. I'm going through some hard times at this part of my life. But I do not lose faith. If you lose faith, you're giving up, you're telling God that you just can't handle what He's handing you.
