There's one thing I've found about sending flowers. It has to be the right ones at the right time. There is a general understanding about what kinds of flowers mean what, so when I send red roses, I want it to mean love, and when I send white roses, I want it to mean friendship. When I send mixed colors... I'm not quite sure what that means yet, but I'll get it eventually. My point here is that I am grateful you get everything, every order right. There was one time when I meant to send white roses and the place sent red. I mean, is that right? To this I say NO. You should know that your efforts are appreciated. I have dealt with certain delivery companies before who could not handle a slight discrepancy in the address with any smarts at all. It seems like if two numbers in a zipcode are transposed, it stops them in their tracks and they delay a couple days and charge you half again as much. I admit that I sometimes get zipcodes wrong. My memory isn’t what it used to be. But someone over there recognized the mistake I made on a flower delivery and it didn’t slow them down a whit. I know you can't see it, but there's a big smile on my face because I finally got my father to break his long silence to my brother. They haven't seen eye to eye for years and have spoken in at least that long. I was able to get them together for my birthday, and the way I convinced them to come was to send each of them a note from me along with bouquets of flowers. It was the last thing I could think of to do, because these are not normally two men who would be affected by flowers.
