My status as a second daughter in my family means that I am usually the left out one. I’m forced into the kitchen with my mother and aunties even though I have no idea how to cook. Although I have to say that my gift of flowers and balloons to the mistress of the house didn’t get me out of kitchen duty, it did get me some extra time with the men in the family as they were impressed I was able to spend so much on a deceptively gorgeous gift. I’m with the Guard in Iraq. I couldn’t be there on our anniversary, so when I sent flowers, I wanted to get it right. And you people got it right. My best day this year was seeing the look on my five-year-old's face when she saw the giant package of flowers that my father sent to her on her first day of kindergarten. They arrived early, to my surprise, so that Linden could see them before she went. It was a special start to a special day, and she wanted to bring them to let the rest of the class enjoy them. By all accounts, they did. I don't know if this would have been possible with another flower distributor, but I'm glad they were possible with you. I've been giving my girlfriend chocolate for the past three years for Valentine's Day. Now she's on a low-carb diet, and I'm not sure how I can give her candy when she's not supposed to be eating it. Of course, she didn't say anything about it. The best present I thought I could give her was flowers. It's true. The flowers went over better than the candy. I appreciate that in the flower world FTD is like the phone company, so every florist has to use it. But I'd like to say that I think you guys are different. Because of some credit card issues, I used more than one flower delivery company to order some accent flowers for a Christmas family celebration. I was stunned at the differences between the flowers I ordered from other sites and the flowers I ordered from yours. Thank you for making at least one daughter in this world very happy. On the occasion of her first apartment by herself, her mother and I sent her a couple of arrangements of you more colorful flowers & baskets.
