I've always been ambivalent about Valentine's Day, mostly because nothing ever happened. It's only recently that I've been in a serious relationship that has lasted through Valentine's Day, so maybe that has something to do with it. In any event, this last Valentine's, I was actually in a relationship, so I wondered what would happen. Societal attitudes, I guess. I got her some candy, and she got me some flowers. But not just any flowers. They were these eye-popping spring flowers with full fragrance and very pretty. Of course, they were your flowers, which is why I'm writing to you. I send thank you bouquets when I want to say thank you to people that I love. It is a good way to show them that you care about them. I am giving this piece of advice to everyone who needs to say thank you to someone. Two of my best friends in the world died this year. We're all getting on, and our families are taking care of us more and more.
