My sister went into labor at 3:00 on Tuesday. I got the news and ordered flowers to be sent to her recovery room. Imagine my surprise when the labor lasted longer than the delivery time for the flowers. The hospital is not a fun place to be over the Holidays. I know, because I lived through it once. My dad spent last Christmas in hospital recovering from bypass surgery. So I wanted to send something to let him know we were all thinking of him. I wish I could have been there, but we're scattered throughout the world and we never really see each other during the holidays because traveling is so frightful nowadays. More often than not we see each other in the spring, celebrating nothing in particular, because it's much more bearable. I apologize if this sounds like my life story. All I really wanted to point out was that I thought the floral arrangement I send turned out wonderful. My mum clicked a few images for me to see, and I noticed how much fuller and more colorful they seemed than what I remember from the picture on your website. I’m so glad that you have the choice for sending a plant in addition to flowers as a sympathy gift. I sent the flowers to the funeral service and the plant to my brother-in-law’s house. I was so sick to hear of my sister-in-law's mother. She died of emphysema. It wasn't exactly unexpected, but it was still a shock to the family. My brother has taken it a bit hard also. I really wish I could have been there, but circumstances prevented. I was glad that I could at least be able to send flowers to their house. They were very gracious about them and I think my brother was most pleased.
