I visited my father in the hospital this morning and was stunned to see that my flowers had arrived before I had. I know I had asked them to be delivered in the early morning, but really! I admit I have a problem about this. I am out of control. Flowers sent to people as get well presents who have nothing but a common cold. In almost all cases, the flowers last much longer than the illness. But it's so easy and it makes everyone feel so much better, even when they're feeling miserable. This year's flu season wasn't quite as bad as last year, but still many people got flowers from me just because they weren't feeling well. My uncle's death was very hard on my cousin, his daughter. I'm glad I was able to give her a little indication that there were people in the world who cared about her and what she was going through. Here in France, they celebrate Mother's Day at the end of the month in May instead of in the middle, so I have to remember to keep on my toes around April. But sometimes it kind of sneaks up on me and I need some help to get flowers very quickly to my mother. This is where you come in. I thought I’d give you an idea. I paired the broken heart roses with a few of the hope and honor crosses. They both have the same visual theme of the red crossing through the white field, but the two of them together at the funeral said just the right thing without having to use any words.
