Just for the record, my father really likes your plants that I've been sending him. The old codger will never admit it, but he appreciates the way they brighten up his dark, dank three-room cabin in the mountains. I was dead set against the frivolity of having flowers at my father’s funeral. He detested frivolous things of any kind.
