I don't know what I was thinking. I like to wander around when I go shopping, and the other day I happened into a florist, who had a special on a spring arrangement of irises and tulips. Though I often use your services for flower delivery, I was taken in by the price, and I sent some to my friend in Vancouver because she's going through a rough time right now. Well, I think you spoiled me for flowers, because I got a call from her when they arrived. She's didn't say anything bad about it, but I could tell from the tone in her voice that they weren't exactly glowing with radiance. Hmmmm, I thought. About a month later, things were still bad for her, so I decided to use you to send them (because I happened to be at home when I thought of it). The results were telling. She went on and on about how your flowers were so much better than the previous ones. She thought it could have been the time of year that accounted for the difference, but I knew better. I don’t know who else to tell, so I’ll tell you. Our son was killed in Iraq this past year. The conflicting emotions I feel about this are unbearable. We were so distraught that we left most of the arrangements to my brother. He had the good sense to order the flower stands from you. which I never would have thought made a difference. My brother has never been one to display heartfelt emotion, but I felt it when those flowers were next to my son’s civilian coffin at the funeral home. I would never have thought to send flowers to my brother to congratulate him on getting a new job. Before I sent him flowers, I wouldn't have suspected that he liked getting them. Maybe he wouldn't have suspected that either. But that was his day when he first went to work. He had the flowers right in front of him as he described the view from his office window. You have my undying admiration for being a company that does what it promises. Every claim you made was and is true. I was a doubter at first, but all my doubts were dispelled this last Christmas, when I hesitantly made a huge order (over $1000) of flower displays, arrangements, and bouquets for the company Christmas party. It's a small company, so I wasn't sure if it would just add to the frivolity of the occasion or if it would be worth it in terms of employee cohesion. Well, it turned out to be both. For the first time in nine years, we did not have any turnover the first six months of the year following the Christmas party. I don't know if it was because we were throwing lousy parties before, or if it was a coincidence or what. The roses were great like I expected, but the vase was very nice and I can use it again for other things. I don't believe what just happened. I sent flowers to my sister, who was on a business trip across the country. She e-mailed me that she won a big account, so I sent her a congratulations present. Little did I know she checked out early and was already back home!
