She didn’t like a big show, and I always thought she would have disapproved of them. Unfortunately, my mother died this year. Valentine's Day has special significance in our house because it was the day that we closed escrow six years ago. It was a very trying time, trying to sell a house and buy a house at the same time. After an extended stay in the States, I am prepared to say that I like China better. This is not to say that I would not enjoy a life over there.
