The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. I'm going through some hard times at this part of my life. But I do not lose faith. If you lose faith, you're giving up, you're telling God that you just can't handle what He's handing you. I've always been ambivalent about Valentine's Day, mostly because nothing ever happened.
