Every year, I've sent my wife roses for Valentine's Day. This year, I decided to do send something different. You know, just because. I still sent all red flowers, but just not roses. I knew she would like them, but I didn't know she would be so thrilled with them. She said it showed that I didn't do things on autopilot, that I actually thought about the present. Who knew? Sometimes it seems like my children have all left me for their better lives in other places. At least they find time to let me know they are doing OK. How great was Mother's Day this year? I sent two, count 'em, two sets of roses to my mother this time.
