The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. Valentine's Day is one of those days where if you have someone to send flowers to, you're happy, but if you don't then you aren't. Too many times, I've found myself sitting at home on the computer instead of outside enjoying the landscape and the people. I've found that if I think about the people in my life back in the US that I want to keep in my life, I have more ability to meet new people and experience new things.
