I know you can't see it, but there's a big smile on my face because I finally got my father to break his long silence to my brother. The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. I wanted to tell you that the orchids I sent my mother in the hospital really lifted her spirits. She was thrilled to see them because she has orchids at home that she hasn't seen in almost a month.
