I decided to be audacious this year and send my boyfriend, who is in Peru with his family for the moment, a series of flower bouquets. One a day for a week until his birthday. The reason it was so audacious is that his family is in the florist business and use FTD every day. The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy.
