My mother sent me flowers out of the blue the other day. I called her up to find out what was going on, and she told me that she suddenly realized that she had a wonderful daughter. My best day this year was seeing the look on my five-year-old's face when she saw the giant package of flowers that my father sent to her on her first day of kindergarten. They arrived early, to my surprise, so that Linden could see them before she went. It was a special start to a special day, and she wanted to bring them to let the rest of the class enjoy them. The hospital is not a fun place to be over the Holidays. I know, because I lived through it once. My dad spent last Christmas in hospital recovering from bypass surgery. So I wanted to send something to let him know we were all thinking of him. I wish I could have been there, but we're scattered throughout the world and we never really see each other during the holidays because traveling is so frightful nowadays. More often than not we see each other in the spring, celebrating nothing in particular, because it's much more bearable. I apologize if this sounds like my life story. All I really wanted to point out was that I thought the floral arrangement I send turned out wonderful. My mum clicked a few images for me to see, and I noticed how much fuller and more colorful they seemed than what I remember from the picture on your website.
