I have a long list of people that I like to give stuff to, and it's the best way to keep stay connected with my friends from high school. I was dead set against the frivolity of having flowers at my father’s funeral. He detested frivolous things of any kind. OK. I have to tell someone about this. I was in the running for a good job at a reputable company. After a series of interviews that went OK but not spectacular, the recruiter told me I was a finalist out of five people. I’ve never done this before, but my mother told me to send flowers.
