It would be wonderful if we all got the wedding of our dreams, but alas, where I wanted to married at the botanical gardens, my father's budget dictated that we get married at the Elks Lodge. I was dead set against the frivolity of having flowers at my father’s funeral. He detested frivolous things of any kind.
