Is there a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with flowers? It's the quintessential red roses day, and I send them out to my girlfriend every year. If there's a better way to get a woman to be initially impressed with you than flowers, I'd love to see it, because it would knock my socks off. I think men have a problem seeing this. I have heard a number of men say something to the effect of "They're just flowers, they don't do anything and they'll die too soon." I'd like to correct any misinterpretation that every man out there may have about sending flowers. These are not valid reasons for not giving flowers. I don't get it. My mother has been an inspiration to me my whole life. Every time I go to her for advice, she is patient, understanding, and always has words of wisdom for me. It is absolutely the least thing I could do to send her flowers on Mother's Day, especially with everything I owe her.
