It would be wonderful if we all got the wedding of our dreams, but alas, where I wanted to married at the botanical gardens, my father's budget dictated that we get married at the Elks Lodge. I'm not complaining, really. In fact, it worked out perfectly and everything went off without a hitch -- so I've been told. I understand you folks did the flowers and I wanted to tell you how well they all went over. I've been to weddings, and the flowers all seem to be in the background because they're so expected. Well, your flowers were just lovely enough to be a part of the whole scene and also understated enough not to overwhelm everyone. Valentine's Day is one of those days where if you have someone to send flowers to, you're happy, but if you don't then you aren't. There's something about giving flowers that makes it worthwhile to be friends with people. That sounded strange. But I guess in a way it's true. I was struck by this sentiment when I looked at how your website was organized. There are many different types of arrangements and many different arrangements within those types. It got me to thinking about how people react to flowers and how they react to the people who send them. I think you've tapped into something here, about how people react to flowers and in what context they receive them probably affects how they are received. I don’t know who else to tell, so I’ll tell you. Our son was killed in Iraq this past year. The conflicting emotions I feel about this are unbearable. We were so distraught that we left most of the arrangements to my brother. He had the good sense to order the flower stands from you. which I never would have thought made a difference. My brother has never been one to display heartfelt emotion, but I felt it when those flowers were next to my son’s civilian coffin at the funeral home.
