I have a long list of people that I like to give stuff to, and it's the best way to keep stay connected with my friends from high school. I was dead set against the frivolity of having flowers at my father’s funeral. He detested frivolous things of any kind. I was so sick to hear of my sister-in-law's mother. She died of emphysema. It wasn't exactly unexpected, but it was still a shock to the family. My brother has taken it a bit hard also. I really wish I could have been there, but circumstances prevented. I was glad that I could at least be able to send flowers to their house. Though I am far away from my friends, it's nice to know that I can let them know I am thinking about them in a time of sadness and loss.
