My mother has been an inspiration to me my whole life. Every time I go to her for advice, she is patient, understanding, and always has words of wisdom for me. It is absolutely the least thing I could do to send her flowers on Mother's Day, especially with everything I owe her. But she's got such a great attitude about life, she breaks down in tears that her daughter could be so kind as to bring her flowers. My sister went into labor at 3:00 on Tuesday. I got the news and ordered flowers to be sent to her recovery room. Imagine my surprise when the labor lasted longer than the delivery time for the flowers. It would be wonderful if we all got the wedding of our dreams, but alas, where I wanted to married at the botanical gardens, my father's budget dictated that we get married at the Elks Lodge. I'm not complaining, really. In fact, it worked out perfectly and everything went off without a hitch -- so I've been told. I understand you folks did the flowers and I wanted to tell you how well they all went over. I've been to weddings, and the flowers all seem to be in the background because they're so expected. Is there some kind of large population of patient souls where you get your customer service people from? Do they also babysit for a trio of tiny terrors (ages: 3, 6, & 8)? I must have been on the phone with this person (I forget her name, sorry!) for at least a half an hour trying to order a simple flower arrangement and I have to chase around my terrors (I mean: lovely children) at the same time.
