I wanted to tell you that there's a new mother that appreciated the delivery of flowers to her bedside. My granddaughter entered the world last week. Sadly, the father could not be there because he's in Afghanistan. I saw the flowers arrive, and I saw the gleam in my daughter's eyes because she knew instantly who they were from. I saw the card and I thought I would share this with you because I was a little surprised that someone in Afghanistan could order flowers that look as nice as these. I have dealt with certain delivery companies before who could not handle a slight discrepancy in the address with any smarts at all. It seems like if two numbers in a zipcode are transposed, it stops them in their tracks and they delay a couple days and charge you half again as much. I admit that I sometimes get zipcodes wrong. My memory isn’t what it used to be. But someone over there recognized the mistake I made on a flower delivery and it didn’t slow them down a whit. I’ve tried lots of different flower delivery companies to send bunches to my family in Hong Kong. Though it has been largely hit-and-miss, I thought you should know that your flowers were most definitely a hit. I know there is a problem with sending produce from country to country, but from what I understand of FTD and other wire services, you actually do all of your business within the country of delivery. I think this is a major benefit of delivery services like yours, and I think this is a very good reason to send gifts this way.
