There are very few non-Saudis left in this city, but there are some. But still, it's amazing that I can send actual florist type flowers to my husband back home. I have to find good reasons to stay here every day, but there's a lot to be done, so I feel like it's my calling. I hope the flowers I send helps to make the space between us a little smaller. My father hates everything. Since my mother died ten years ago, he's been a terrible grump. I think it was hard on him more than anyone else. I'm going through some hard times at this part of my life. But I do not lose faith. If you lose faith, you're giving up, you're telling God that you just can't handle what He's handing you. My family was killed in a house fire a year ago to right now. I decided to commemorate this as a celebration of their lives and how their lives affected mine. My friends, family all came down for it, and I ordered what I consider to be the best flowers in the world -- not for myself, although I will enjoy them, but for my family.
