The way my family celebrates Christmas, you would think it was Festivus. My dad always tries to challenge someone to wrestle and we have a tinsel lined pole in the back yard that I used to practice tetherball on. I don't know if my parents have developed a sense of humor or we're all really warped. I'm glad I was able to bring some semblance of normalcy into Christmas, though, with the flowers that I sent ahead of time. I had screwed up every anniversary gift since we were married. Last year, I got my wife what she asked for... in the wrong size. That was a disaster. I don’t know if you know how hard it is to find a consistently good florist. Back in the 1980s, there was a flower delivery service associated with a department store that has since been swallowed up by a larger company. I think that flower delivery company was the only one that could match yours in terms of quality, price, and promptness. Of course, they’re gone now, but you’re still here.
