She's never really been a part of our family in any meaningful way, even though she tries I think my brother has managed to shield her from much of the family nonsense that might help bring us closer. We all got together for her birthday, without my idiot younger brother, and we realized that the flowers helped break the ice when we got there. This may sound a little silly, but I hope it doesn't. My best friend's cat died over the weekend, and I couldn't think of anything to do for her being so far away with work and all. The best thing I could think of was to send a nice sympathy bouquet. I know how close she was to that cat, and I didn't really know how to say that in words. I like that you can add extras to the arrangements you send for a reasonable charge. I sent the Butterfly Basket and added a balloon onto it for my best friend's birthday. There's something about giving flowers that makes it worthwhile to be friends with people. That sounded strange. But I guess in a way it's true. I was struck by this sentiment when I looked at how your website was organized. There are many different types of arrangements and many different arrangements within those types. It got me to thinking about how people react to flowers and how they react to the people who send them. I think you've tapped into something here, about how people react to flowers and in what context they receive them probably affects how they are received.
