Valentine's Day is one of those days where if you have someone to send flowers to, you're happy, but if you don't then you aren't. My younger brother has always felt like he was kind of the forgotten child in the family. He's the youngest of seven, and was the last to do everything. Good gracious! Just about everything went wrong with my sister's wedding. It was her third marriage, and I don't know what she was expecting mixing her dogs in the ceremony with the swans in a makeshift pool. It might have been funnier if I wasn't trying to hold it all together. Maybe I'll laugh about it someday. I was dead set against the frivolity of having flowers at my father’s funeral. He detested frivolous things of any kind.
